Dear KDBA Members,
We are excited to announce that grand final week will commence, under restrictions and guidelines directive of Basketball WA and the government.
Masks are mandatory and must be on before you arrive, all patrons 13 and over must wear a mask at all times – even players on the bench. Players and Referee active in the game may remove their masks to play.
You must scan into the Covid Safe WA app on arrival to our stadium and use hand sanitizer on entry too.
CHANGES FOR TONIGHT:
– Tonight will be free entry for players/teams to avoid lines/extended entry time.
-A single entry will be at the court 1 end, all will exit at the court 5 end.
– The doors will be locked during the games, doors will be opened to the next time slot once all from the previous time slot have left. Do not arrive at your game too early.
– To manage the 150 capacity limit across the venue time slots, teams will be limited to 18 patrons per team (this allows for an average of 8 players with 1 parent/guardian each and a coach/manager). This will be monitored at the entry door.
To avoid double entries, if you are the designated parent/guardian YOU MUST enter at the same time as your child.
– All games will only be timed in the final 3 minutes. Championship divisions will not have a 15 minute timed second half to avoid timeline extensions.
-Presentations tonight following games will be sped up as much as we can due to the circumstances, we ask that teams spread out as much as possible to allow for social distancing.
If you are feeling unwell including fever, sore throat, cough, or shortness of breath please do not attend the venue.
