Round 13 saw the Bendigo Bank Eastern Suns return home to Ray Owen Sports Centre for the special Mental Health Round sponsored by Stott Hoare, playing in honour of Mitchell Delle Coste. Both teams faced the Perth Redbacks again, replicating their matchups from just a few weeks ago. The Women made a fast start but couldn’t hold off the Redbacks, while the Men produced a dominant 28-point win to round out a memorable night.

The Women’s team came out firing and led by six at quarter-time. But despite a strong opening, the Redbacks gradually took control after halftime. Karly Murphy was outstanding once again, collecting the Mitchell Delle Coste MVP for her 20-point, 18-rebound effort.

The Men controlled the game from the outset, winning every quarter to close out a commanding 28-point victory. It was the first home game of 2025 for Randy Bell and Colin Howells, with Bell adding plenty of spark alongside big contributions from Travis Fee and Marshall Nelson, whom collected the Mitchell Delle Coste MVP.
