The Eastern Suns hit the road this Friday night for their second-last game of the 2026 NBL1 West regular season, taking on the South West Slammers in Eaton.
With the season entering its final stages, both Suns teams have plenty to play for. The Women will be looking to extend their winning streak and keep their finals hopes alive, while the Men are eager to bounce back after last week’s defeat and continue building momentum heading into finals.

The Suns Women produced one of their best performances of the season when the sides last met, recording a dominant 102–81 victory.
Gabriela Bronson led the way with a sensational all-round display of 27 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals. Alyssa Bowen added 21 points and 6 rebounds, while Ella Averill controlled the paint with an 18-point, 11-rebound double-double as the Suns surpassed the 100-point mark for the first time this season.
Men
The Suns Men were equally impressive, defeating the Slammers 91–76 to continue their strong start to the year.
Jordan Simpson finished with 20 points and 3 steals, Jesse Pollock added 14 points, while Hayden Price narrowly missed a double-double with 11 points and 9 rebounds. Colin Howells also reached double figures as the Suns showcased their depth in another complete team performance.
