Hi Suns!
Following the most recent Basketball WA Update (See link below), its with regret that we inform you that NBL1, WABL & Domestic Competitions will be postponed another week.
“The Government today has confirmed that it will be mandatory as a Condition of Entry for all people (that aren’t
primary or preschool age) and staff to wear masks at all times while indoors (unless eating, drinking or swimming) in
the Perth and Peel region for the period of 12:01am Saturday 1st May – 12:01am 8th Saturday May 8th 2021.”

Due to the impractical nature of players and referee’s still having to wear masks, NBL1 fixtures for this weekend and next Friday night have been postponed, and round 2 WABL fixtures this weekend cancelled.
As an association, our domestic competition next Monday 3rd and Wednesday 5th May will be cancelled, and all games from this two week missed period will be made washouts.
We will have more information throughout next week as it arises, and hopefully see you back on court as of Saturday 8 May 2021.
The latest information from the state government on COVID-19 can be found at wa.gov.au and health.wa.gov.au
Thank you in advance for helping us all stay safe!
