COMPETITION UPDATE

Dear Suns Basketball Players, Coaches, Members and Supporters,Thank you all for your patience and understanding over the past few weeks, hopefully we will be back into the swing of things at 100% as of next Monday pending any further government restrictions.

We have an update for you regarding the domestic competitions, including closing out last season and new start dates for season 2 of 2021, as well as NBL1 restrictions while still returning to normal conditions

Domestic Season 1 Wednesday Grand Finals:

Unfortunately due to harsher lockdown restrictions commencing after our Monday grand finals, we did not get a chance to play our Wednesday night grand finals to finish off the season. We can now confirm Wednesday grand finals will be held the first week back of the school term on Wednesday 21 July.

Domestic Season 2 = New Start Dates

Season 2 of our domestic competition for 2021 will now start a week later than originally planned, commencing on Monday 26th and Wednesday 28th July (week 2 of term 3).

NBL1 Indigenous Round – Spectators for tomorrow nights game

Due to unforeseen multivenue events, unfortunately, the very limited general public spectator space for tomorrow night’s game will no longer be available. Any space that we do have will be allocated to the player’s families, we apologize for the inconvenience & hope you understand.

The game broadcast will still be available live of course; 📺 kalamundaeasternsuns.nbl1.com.au
