The Eastern Suns are proud to recognise our Core Cider House Pink Round MVPs, following Saturday night’s clashes with the East Perth Eagles in our special Pink Round sponsored by CJD Equipment.
The evening was a fantastic celebration of community, awareness, and support, with the Suns community coming together to recognise the importance of breast cancer awareness initiatives.
A big thank you also to Core Cider House for their continued support in celebrating standout performances throughout the 2026 NBL1 West season.
Women’s MVP – Emma Strelein

Emma made her presence felt with a hardworking and team-first performance, impacting the contest through her energy and effort on both ends of the floor. In just under 22 minutes of action, she recorded 6 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal, providing important contributions and helping set the tone with her intensity and physicality.
Men’s MVP – Joel Vaiangina
Joel delivered a strong all-around performance, bringing energy and composure throughout the contest. In 22 minutes on court, he finished with 14 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 steals, making plays and providing an important spark for the Suns.
Both players embodied the spirit of Pink Round with their effort, resilience, and commitment to the team.
