The Eastern Suns are proud to recognise our Round 5 Core Cider House MVPs following a big double-header weekend against the Lakeside Lightning and Willetton Tigers.

Women’s MVP – Ella Averill
Ella delivered a standout scoring performance, leading the Suns with confidence and efficiency. In just over 30 minutes on court, she recorded 27 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal, providing a consistent offensive presence and setting the tone for the team.
Men’s MVP – Marley Sam

Marley was dominant against Lakeside, producing one of the performances of the season. In 33 minutes, he poured in 35 points, along with 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals, leading from the front and making his impact felt across the game.
Women’s MVP – Alyssa Bowen

Alyssa controlled the paint with a powerful all-around display, anchoring the Suns on both ends of the floor. In over 36 minutes of action, she finished with a commanding 14 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, and 2 blocks, showcasing her presence inside and ability to influence the game defensively and on the boards.

Backing up his Lakeside performance, Marley delivered again against Willetton with another elite outing. In 38 minutes, he recorded 29 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 5 steals, and 1 block, demonstrating his consistency, leadership, and ability to impact the game in multiple ways.
A strong weekend of performances across both games, with players stepping up in key moments and continuing to set the standard for the group.
