The Eastern Suns are proud to recognise our Round 11 Core Cider House MVPs following a challenging double-header weekend against the East Perth Eagles and Joondalup Wolves.

vs EAST PERTH EAGLES
Women’s MVP – Yume Knoll
Yume delivered when it mattered most against East Perth, finishing with 15 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist, and 1 steal in 32 minutes. Her biggest moment came in the closing seconds of regulation, sinking a clutch two-point basket to send the game into overtime and keep the Suns alive.


Men’s MVP – Joe Cook-Green

Joe delivered one of his best performances of the season, taking control of the game offensively while creating opportunities for his teammates. In nearly 36 minutes on court, he finished with 30 points, 2 rebounds, 9 assists, and 2 steals, showcasing his scoring ability and playmaking leadership throughout the contest.

Women’s MVP – Gaby Bronson

Gaby continued her outstanding season with a dominant all-around display against the Wolves. In just over 31 minutes, she recorded 27 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, and 1 steal, producing a double-double while leading the Suns on both ends of the floor. Her ability to impact the game in multiple facets was crucial throughout the contest.


Men’s MVP – Joe Cook-Green

Backing up his East Perth performance, Joe was once again a driving force for the Suns against Joondalup. In almost 35 minutes of action, he finished with 34 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 steal, continuing his impressive weekend with another high-scoring performance. His ability to consistently create offense and perform in key moments made him a standout across both games.

A strong weekend of individual performances saw several Suns step up against quality opposition, with Yume, Gaby, and Joe leading the way.
