Dear Members, Players & Staff,

On behalf of Kalamunda & Districts Basketball Association, we thank you for support, understanding and most importantly solidarity as we face this challenge, the likes of which we have never seen before at KDBA. The opposition has arrived and we need to block it in every way possible.

All our volunteers, players, coaches, referees and staff that make this the greatest sport in the world are at the forefront of every decision we make at the moment. For it is all of you that make it a possibility that KDBA exists in the first place.

We will look to do everything possible to ensure that KDBA bounces back from this challenge and returns more resilient than ever. To ensure this happens we appreciate your understanding and commitment to slowing down the spread of this virus by protecting the wider community and helping our health system to cope.

Who would have thought we would long to hear the thud of basketballs actually being bounced in the foyer? So we understand the disappointment that basketball has been postponed but remain committed to keeping our community connected through these trying times. We want you stay connected with us and make sure when our stadium opens it’s doors again you all return to basketball.

Please check in with your basketball mates to make sure they are doing well and keep an eye out for what is happening at KDBA. With your understanding and patience KDBA will navigate it’s way through these financially difficult times so we can deliver all our programs again.

From the entire Management Team at Kalamunda & Districts Basketball Association we wish you and your families the best health and look forward to when we next see you at Ray Owen Stadium.

Sincerely

Peter Hanson
