Kalamunda & Districts Basketball Association (KDBA)

Position Summary

KDBA is located in the Eastern Suburbs or Perth with a growing membership of around 1600 players across domestic, WABL and NBL1 programs. Our mission is to encourage basketball participation for all, and through the contributions of our members, create opportunity for all participants to have fun, realise their individual potential and achieve team success.

In order to realise this mission, KDBA is seeking a motivated and professional individual to lead the important priority of player development.

The successful applicant will manage the delivery of all development programs for KDBA. This position is responsible for developing an academy model and attracting and retaining basketballers in domestic and WABL pathways. Through excellent development opportunities you will help KDBA grow, while producing high performance athletes.

Salary

The Head of development is a part-time position. It is expected that the position will require 50 hours per month (this may vary depending on peak activity periods)

Flexible working arrangements are supported, however due to the nature of the role, out-of-hours work (including weekends and evenings) will be required as standard.

A base salary of $20,000 per annum is offered (plus superannuation). There is a potential for an additional performance bonus upon achievement of predetermined performance indicators
